Boston, Massachusetts, USA: 1/14/2012 - 1/16/2012

Boston is a beautiful city. It was only my second time visiting the city, but I’ve got to say, it’s probably one of my favorite places thus far. It manages to be modern while still maintaining a lot of its history. That impresses me a lot.

That being said, the only thing preventing me from wanting to live in Boston is the frigid cold winters. While I prefer to wear as many layers as humanly possible to fend off the cold air, Bostonians seem to have a natural immunity to it. There were girls walking around, dressed in unzipped down coats and miniskirts. Guys in t-shirts, carrying coats in hand. All of them seemed unfazed by the biting 9 mph winds.

I got cold sitting next to the window in our hotel room. How these people manage to get around the way they do, I’ll never know.
